HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY @ghostlighttattooparlor ! I have so much I want to say that I feel like I can’t even put together the words to say it. I am a self taught artist and it was a lot of hard work to get to this point. Tattooing has taught me so much about my self and so much about life. It was unexpected and uncomfortable and changed me in ways I am so grateful for. Grateful to learn how to ground myself in the present moment. Grateful for the clarity of thought and the meditation that comes with the process of tattooing! Grateful for connection and laughter and all of my clients who have brought so much joy and purpose in my life. Grateful for all of the trust I developed withing myself. Grateful for patience and vulnerability. Grateful for learning to trust the process and believe in myself. Grateful for learning to ask for help and rely on others. Thank you @chris_burke_tattoos for taking a chance on me and allowing me to grow in this space! Thank you for your guidance and holding space for me and encouraging me when I was just an annoying human lost looking for advice. Thank you @dollteeth_ for every piece of advice you so freely and kindly gave me whenever needed and for vouching for me. I wouldn’t be in this space if it weren’t for you. Thank you @janmicheltattoo for your constant praise and encouragement. All those “That’s Really nice, Yaz” that I’ve gotten from you this last year are so reassuring and encouraging and APPRECIATED 🥹 Thanks @moosetattooer for being a dope ass artist. Having you work across from me this last year was inspiring and always pushed me to want to be better. Thanks for any advice and listening to the random thoughts that I for some reason always have to share with you.
